Returned Refund Fee

Direct deposit refunds that have been rejected for any reason will be subject to a $15.00 returned electronic refund service charge. This includes, but is not limited to, direct deposits requested using inaccurate or illegible banking information and closed, frozen or ineligible accounts.

Online Filing / ACH Debit Payments

To begin filing* and submitting ACH debit payments for business tax types, you can visit the MyTaxes website.

*Corporate Income/Business Franchise Tax and Income Tax for Pass-Through Entities are available on the MyTaxes website for payment only. e-Filing is available for these tax types through Approved Providers.

Mandatory e-Pay/e-File Information

Businesses that have made payments totaling $50,000 or more during the most recent fiscal year may be required to file and pay their West Virginia taxes electronically.

Exclusions to the e-File Requirement

The following tax accounts are excluded from the mandatory EFT/e-File requirements:

  • Motor Fuel Floor Stock
  • Motor Fuel Back-Up
  • Motor Fuel Terminal Operator
  • Motor Fuel Producer
  • Raffle
  • Raffle Board and Games
  • Telemarketer Tax
