ADMINISTRATIVE NOTICE 93-14

SUBJECT: Blizzard of 1993 -- Extension of time to file West Virginia tax returns and to pay taxes due March 15, 1993.

James H. Paige III, Secretary and Tax Commissioner, announced today that persons who have tax returns and/or tax payments which are due today and who cannot timely mail their tax returns or their tax payments due to the Blizzard of 1993 will be given a one-day extension of time to file those returns and to pay any tax that is due March 15, 1993.

Persons who, due to the Blizzard of 1993, cannot file their returns by midnight March 16, 1993, should mark at the top of their returns, when they are filed, the words "BLIZZARD OF 1993."
